里奥哈葡萄酒优质原产地在2019年共收获约3.85亿公斤葡萄（包括上里奥哈1.87亿公斤，东里奥哈1.09亿公斤，里奥哈阿拉维萨8900万公斤），其中红葡萄共计3.42亿公斤，白葡萄4300万公斤。
The 2019 harvest in the Rioja DOCa saw approximately 385 million kg of grapes harvested (187 million at Rioja Alta, 109 at Rioja Oriental, and 89 million at Rioja Alavesa), of which 342 million kg were red grapes and 43 million kg were white grapes.
随着2019年里奥哈葡萄酒优质原产地收获季降下帷幕，目前观察得到的主要结论是今年收成的特点为果串不太紧密，颗粒也较小 – 这些因素都会为最佳品质带来保障。
As the 2019 harvest in the Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja draws to a close, the main observation which can made it that this was a year characterised byless tightly packed clusters and smaller grapes – all key components in guaranteeing maximum quality.
  
这些因素的综合作用，加上得益于收获季全过程尤其是十月份整月特别理想的气候条件，葡萄树普遍展现出卓越的健康状态。原产地管委会技术总监 Pablo Franco 先生总结道：“这些都将带来一个独特的年份。虽然现在评价最终结果还为时过早，但我们着实对本年份成为里奥哈葡萄酒历史上值得纪念的一年抱有高度期待。”
This combination of factors, together with the outstanding overall health of the vines, made possible by the extraordinary weather conditions throughout the harvest and especially throughout October, “will make this a unique vintage, and although it is still early to look at the results, we have high hopes that this vintage will be recorded as a memorable year in the history of Rioja wine”,concludes Pablo Franco, technical director of the Designation.
另外一个重要因素是三大大区的收获期先后错开。这样就在收获期不产生重叠的情况下，让不同分区的葡萄能够分别达到很好的成熟度。
An additional factor is the staggered harvest periods amongst the three production zones that allowed the grapes to achieve levels of maturation without overlapping.
葡萄树良好的健康状态对于年份表现一直起到关键的作用。同样重要的还有来自14800位种植者和600家里奥哈酒庄的大量工作以及里奥哈原产地管委会200多位技术人员的全力支持。“所有勤劳的付出和坚定的信念让我们对自己工作的成效感到满意并且对结果充满乐观。虽然这个成长季的条件比较复杂，但好在我们没有在气候方面遭到大的挑战。这使得我们能够在最理想的时段完成采摘。”
The good level of vine health has proved key in obtaining these results, along with the huge amount of work put in by the 14,800 growers and 600 wineries from Rioja, as well as the support of over 200 technicians and harvest staff that work in the Consejo; “this hard work and determination has resulted in a feeling of optimism and a job well done. Despite the season having been a complex one, we didn’t suffer from major climatic setbacks, which allowed us to pick at the optimal time.”
在葡萄酒的品质方面“第一印象是令人鼓舞的。这个年份的降雨来得正是时候，而且全过程种植条件都非常优秀，所以我们能够酿出酒香浓郁，色泽饱满的葡萄酒。”
In terms of the wines produced “the first impressions of quality are really encouraging; the rains came just at the right moment and the vegetative conditions have been exceptional all year round which has allowed us to obtain balanced wines with great aromatic intensity and very good colour extraction”.
第一次换桶阶段抽取的样本展现出值得注意的良好口感结构。这是里奥哈最具传统风格葡萄酒的典型特质。“葡萄酒的良好结构以及优秀的酒香表现让我们相信本年份的葡萄酒将具备极佳的陈化潜力”，原产地管委会作出了这样的确认。他们还特别指出pH值，酸度和酒精含量之间达到的良好平衡。虽然收获季最后几天的高气温带来葡萄成熟的加速，并导致酒精含量略有上升。
The first rackings reveal a notable structure, typical of the most traditional wines from Rioja: “their good structure, along with an excellent aromatic definition, leads us to believe that these will be wines with great ageing potential” affirms the Control board, which also highlighted the balance between the pH, acidity, and alcohol, even though the last few days of the harvest saw high temperatures which led to accelerated grape ripening and a slight increase in alcohol levels.
总而言之，2019年份让人充满了热切的期待，在未来若干年间，必将为人们带来备受推崇的高品质里奥哈葡萄酒。
In a nutshell, the 2019 vintage looks very promising and exciting, and it will surely produce Rioja wines that will be very sought-after in the years to come.
